Compas offers service trips and cultural tours to high schools, universities, churches, and organizations. There are no Spanish

Compas de Nicaragua 2008 Service Trips.
The SHARE Institute
From December 29th through January 16th, 5 interns from the SHARE Institute will visit Women in Action. The SHARE Institute
(Sacramento, CA) has supported a number of WIA programs the last several years. In 2007, SHARE funded anti-violence workshops
and activities at the WIA Center.
SHARE supports women's groups around the world. They also offer internships that help "mentor young women and men
by introducing them to international development issues. The program provides global leadership skills, domestically and internationally."
Mount Mansfield Union High School
A group of students from Mount Mansfield High School will be visiting WIA from February 24th through March 2. Compas
Executive Directors, Ana Narvaez and Michael Boudreau visited the school during their fall tour and spoke with intersted students
about a trip. Social Studies teacher, Bryan Aubin will be leading the trip.
Keene State College
Compas will be hosting a group of students from Keene State College in March during spring break. The group will be led
by Keene State Professors, Peggy Walsh and Karrie Kalich. The trip will be part of an interdisciplinary course that will
be offered at Keene State.
New England College
Professors Chris Dale and Douglas Haynes will also be offering a course at NEC that will include a service trip to Nicaragua.
The trip will take place May 16 through May 26.

Plymouth State University
In May, Compas will receive the 12 consecutive service trip from the Plymouth State University Nicaragua Club.
Danny's Team
In July, DT will make its 4th consecutive trip to WIA. DT has been supporting a micro-lending program at WIA.
Fairfaix United Methodist Church
In July/August the Fairfax Methodist Church will make its 5th consecutive trip to WIA.
