The Women in Action center includes a library, computer lab, school room, community store, and activity space. The library
includes children's books, reference books, novels, as well as games, puzzles, and sports equipment. The computer lab is
equipped with 4 computers and a printer. It is run by Women in Action members who have been receiving computer training every
Saturday as part of their adult education classes. The school room is used for enrichment activities with children and for
women's adult education classes. The community store sells used clothing and sneakers as well as school supplies at low cost.
The activity space is used for gourd art workshops, the soy food making program, and weekly workshops on reproductive health,
violence, and other themes.
